Spiral Nail Art by Shilpa at Our External World

Hi friends, today I'm sharing a very simple yet elegant nail art that you can create at home. It looks tricky but when you look at the step by step tutorial you will be able to do it yourself without any trouble.

For this nail art you will need 3 nail paints and a toothpick. If you are already familiar with doing nail art and have a nail art brush then you can use that instead of the toothpick.

Begin by painting your nail with the lightest color - I have used a silver polish as the base from China Glaze. Then dab the top half of the nail with the second color - I have used a pale green color. Now you can actually use a sponge, dab some nail paint on the sponge and sponge half of your nail with the green color. Alternately you can paint it with the nail polish brush.

Once the nail paint dries completely follow the steps in the tutorial image to create the spiral patterns using the darkest color nail polish. I have used a sparkly bronze color for the spirals.

Let the patterns dry out completely and then top your nail art with a clear top coat to make it last longer. Volla! Now you are all ready to flaunt your nails. Remember you can play with different colors and match your nails to your outfit if you wish.

This nail art is inspired by a blue combination spiral done by Robin Mosses. I hope you enjoyed the tutorial.
