Guest Post: Shoe Styling with Online Avenue

Have you ever looked on Online Avenue? I discovered them today and have already found loads of shoes on their website that I want! I didn’t expect the prices to be so cheap too! Here are two of my fave shoes from the website:

The Raquel Peep Toe Retro Pumps are bang on trend. I love nude/sand coloured things at the moment, the colour matches basically everything and looks pretty with everything. The chunky high heel looks super comfortable too. I think that these would be the perfect spring/summer shoes, you’d get a lot of wear out of them! They match lots of pastel coloured clothing, and even black or grey. Pair them with ripped skinny jeans/boyfriend jean, a high-waisted skirt, or even shorts! Match the white heel to a white top/accessory and you’re ready to go.
The Julissa Stiletto Platform Ankle Boots are so chic. Ankle boots are so in right now, so these ones with a stiletto heel are extra on trend. I love the colour combination of black and gold, it looks classy and stylish and never goes out of style. These super high closed toe heels are timeless, and great for a night out! Something that drew me to them was the curved zip, as it’s really unique and unusual. I’m sure this would have people asking where you got your shoes from! These ones are suede, but they also come in faux-leather (love!). And for only £20.50 you really have no excuse not to buy them! Pair with wet-look leggings and rock some gold accessories for a night on the town. Or for a more casual look, wear jeans and a knitted jumper or loose top. Paint your nails black (or even matte black) to pull your whole outfit together.

What do you think of these shoes? Are you a sucker for shoes?

etailPR's Intern Charlotte - What I Would Wear To Laides Day #ColourMeMarch

As you've probably seen from our previous blog posts and all across our social media channels, the team here at etailPR are gearing themselves up for Ladies Day at this years Cheltenham Races festival and this years Ladies Day is all about introducing colour to the festival with #ColourMeMarch. Taking place on the 11th of March this year, Cheltenham Ladies Day is celebrating colour whether it be your dress, shoes or even your fascinator, by entering their #ColourMeMarch competition you could be crowned 'Best Dressed' at this years Ladies Day!

All of the girls in the office have been planning their outfits and our Intern Charlotte is sharing what she would wear to Ladies Day this year.

Being a lover of all things monochrome, trying to pull together a colourful outfit was harder than I originally thought but staying true to my own style, I have opted for one of my favourite Topshop dresses. As i'm a huge fan of floral prints, introducing pattern into my outfit is key for me and it always brings that extra something to any outfit.

Now as #ColourMeMarch is all about introducing colour, i'd pull in colour from my shoes and accessories to bring a pop of colour to the outfit and then finishing the outfit off with a colourful fascinator.

To enter you simply have to upload your picture and share it via Twitter using #ColourMeMarch before 1.50pm on Ladies Day, 11th March.  All the entries will be displayed in their online gallery too so keep a look out for yourself! You do need to be there on the day wearing the outfit from your picture and if you’re featured then you’re in with a chance of winning.

Intern Insight: Ipanema Flip Flop Wish List

Ok, so today is my first day as a student intern at EtailPR and after mentioning an upcoming summer holiday I have planned on the calendar, Ipanema was the site said to seriously take a look at and i'm glad I did just that.

After having a look around the site, I have finally slimmed my wish list down. I’m often searching high and low for a decent pair of fashionable yet comfortable flip flops and overall summer shoes, and after visiting Ipanema the prices seem quite reasonable and the choice of style is spot on for me.

Starting off with the Ipanema Diamond II Sandal priced at £23, these sandals are adjustable and look so stylish. These paired with a simple maxi dress for the summer nights is an outfit inspiration. Brown isn’t the only colour they come in also, and knowing the comfort of Ipanema flip-flops, you’re not going to find a better buy on the market.

These Ipanema Jewel II Flip Flops can add a touch of class to any outfit, with the jewel design encrusted onto the shoe you’re sure to “stand out from the crowd”. The shoe comes in various colours that are easily matchable to your 2015 summer wardrobe. Knowing you can rely on the comfort aspect for this shoe, whilst also being easy to clean, girls shouldn’t be without an Ipanema shoe this summer.

I just have to mention these Ipanema Women's Switch Straps Flip Flop that come with two additional straps! They also come in 8 different colours and designs and are priced at only £25!! You’ll be mad not to think these are the perfect pair of flip-flops to have in your wardrobe this summer, and I should also mention that Ipanema provide FREE UK delivery if you order three or more pairs, which is a deal in itself.

These Ipanema Aztec Women's Flip Flop with its aztec print and features will catch everyone’s eye, and the added touch of an embossed print strap adds luxury. As my final favourite shoe its definitely one of my favourites on Ipanema and I sway anyone to take a look. The company also specialise in men’s and kids footwear, so buying gifts or helping the other half with their summer wardrobe is available!

The comfort of these Ipanema Vitraux Sandal I know will satisfy even the pickiest of buyers as even as a sandal, Ipanema retain the comfort factor throughout their entire shoe collection. The jewels give the shoe elegance and I can guarantee these will grab attention. These sandals also come in 5 different colours and sizes 3-8.

Lastly are the Ipanema Spring Sandal, which are very stylish and an original sandal/flip-flop are a night time staple for me. There the type of shoe I’d wear on the summer nights and think are a perfect outfit setter, with the unique print design and flower motif on the strap.

So that is my little Ipanema wish list!

etailPR's Intern Bethan - What I Would Wear To Ladies Day #ColourMeMarch

Why wear one colour to this years Cheltenham races when you could wear them all?! With #ColourMeMarch it is every woman's responsibility to bring the sunshine to Ladies Day on the 11th of March. This day is not the day to be shy with your colour choices. Think rainbow, and don't limit yourself to one colour!
For my look I decided to block my colour with a yellow jacket and fuchsia pink heels with a matching fascinator. I put underneath this my favourite paint splatter print coordinating chiffon top and skirt, however even a little white dress with a statement necklace would look fantastic!

Coordinating make up is the finishing touch, use two lipsticks to create depth to your colour. First place the dark lipstick - or lipliner - to shape your lips and colour the brighter shade in the centre of your lips to make them pop!

If you are feeling more conservative with your choices then go for that little white dress and accessorise brightly. Go for red lips, red shoes, a red bag and a magnificently large red fascinator or hat. That way even if the clouds are out on the day, you will still be shining on the ground!

To enter you simply have to upload your picture and share it via Twitter using #ColourMeMarch before 1.50pm on Ladies Day, 11th March.  All the entries will be displayed in their online gallery too so keep a look out for yourself! You do need to be there on the day wearing the outfit from your picture and if you’re featured then you’re in with a chance of winning.

etailPR's Katie - What I Would Wear to Ladies Day For #ColourMeMarch

Ladies day is fast approaching and what to wear is the first thing that comes to a girls mind. The races is notoriously known for a chance to dress up, everyone wants to be included in the best dressed category, showcasing their brand new outfit – and on this day in particular, the fashion race is on!

This year, the racecourse is running an exciting competition for #ColourMeMarch. Colour Me March is all about bringing lots of colour (and style) to the festival. It gives you the chance to get dressed up and show off your new outfit by entering a competition where you’re in with the chance of winning some awesome prizes… so why not?!

As a girl who loves to wear black on a night out, I pictured myself having to wear some in your face monstrosity, that you often see on the ‘What were they thinking?’ pages (and no nobody wants to be featured there!) However, my opinion soon changed when I found this dress. A lover of red lipstick, my raspberry red French Connection dress paired with nude snakeskin heels from Reiss, meant I could get away with wearing some black, making use of my studded Topshop clutch that added a bit of edgy, alternative glamour.

My sister (pictured with me) is also coming to the races and will be wearing her blue and nude polka dot playsuit from Topshop, paired with an electric pink blazer from Urban Outfitters, in true Colour Me March style.

Time to get styling girls! Good luck x
