etailPR's Katie - What I Would Wear to Ladies Day For #ColourMeMarch

Ladies day is fast approaching and what to wear is the first thing that comes to a girls mind. The races is notoriously known for a chance to dress up, everyone wants to be included in the best dressed category, showcasing their brand new outfit – and on this day in particular, the fashion race is on!

This year, the racecourse is running an exciting competition for #ColourMeMarch. Colour Me March is all about bringing lots of colour (and style) to the festival. It gives you the chance to get dressed up and show off your new outfit by entering a competition where you’re in with the chance of winning some awesome prizes… so why not?!

As a girl who loves to wear black on a night out, I pictured myself having to wear some in your face monstrosity, that you often see on the ‘What were they thinking?’ pages (and no nobody wants to be featured there!) However, my opinion soon changed when I found this dress. A lover of red lipstick, my raspberry red French Connection dress paired with nude snakeskin heels from Reiss, meant I could get away with wearing some black, making use of my studded Topshop clutch that added a bit of edgy, alternative glamour.

My sister (pictured with me) is also coming to the races and will be wearing her blue and nude polka dot playsuit from Topshop, paired with an electric pink blazer from Urban Outfitters, in true Colour Me March style.

To enter you simply have to upload your picture and share it via Twitter using #ColourMeMarch before 1.50pm on Ladies Day, 11th March.  All the entries will be displayed in their online gallery too so keep a look out for yourself! You do need to be there on the day wearing the outfit from your picture and if you’re featured then you’re in with a chance of winning.

Be sure to follow @ColourMeMarch on Twitter for all the latest updates and news on the biggest race meet in the racing calendar!

Time to get styling girls! Good luck x
