Autumn/Winter fashion by Bubbly B

Hi everyone!

This is my very first post over on E-Tail PR and after a lot of thought of choosing what to do I decided to do one for an OOTD for Autumn/Winter.

I'm definitely an Autumn/Winter girl, I really prefer it over Summer and I can't wait until it's finally here properly.

Below I've put together a Collage for my Autumn/Winter Outfit;

The first thing I knew I wanted for this look was Black Leggings. Leggings have to be by far the comfiest things ever apart from Joggers of course. After I found these Black Leggings, I wanted to add an Over-Sized Sweater.

I love Sweaters with Slogans on and I love Paris - even though I've never been - so as soon as this Sweater appeared on my screen I knew it would fit perfectly with the Leggings.

Next was the Coat - I had an image in my head of what I wanted the coat to look like and the one I chose was pretty much identical. I've got my own Green Winter Coat and it's so nice and comfy and not forgetting the main thing; it keeps you warm! So this coat is perfect for those cold Wintery days.

Lastly was the boots, again I had this image in my head of how I wanted them to look, I didn't want them to be black because of the leggings and I also didn't want them to have a heel or be knee high. I searched around and found these Brown coloured ankle boots which were flat and I fell in love with them so they had to be my choice of Boots to complete the look. I think I'm definitely going to have to invest in a pair for myself! I love the little fur part around the top it just adds to the Autumn/Winter look perfectly.

So there we have it! My Autumn/Winter OOTD - Which item do you prefer?!

You can find me blogging over at www.bubblyb.co.uk

Celeb Style: Kardashian sisters!

Last weekend the Kardashian sisters turned up at iHeartRadio's festival wearing a monochrome ensemble, featuring a lot of leather! We thought we'd try and recreate this relatively easy look to show you how to get their 'Celeb Style' for a fraction of the price!

Khloe's leather two piece looked great and there are lots of leather skirts and tops on the market at the moment. This pencil diagonal zip pencil skirt and sleeveless crop top are both from Fashion Union and together cost just £42.

Younger sister Kylie also opted for a leather look with this oversized t-shirt dress. Also from Fashion Union is this lovely leather dress with gold stud detailing around the neckline. This dress retails for just £18 and teamed a with pair of Ax Paris black heels you can get Kylie's style easily :)

The remaining red heels and white crop top are also both from Fashion Union, whilst this slogan 'Nerd' t-shirt is from Ax Paris.

Are you a fan of the Kardashian's? If so, who's your favourite?

Wednesday wish list: The Watch Gallery

1. Rue Du Rhone quartz watch from The Watch Gallery
2. Motel Sasa dress
3. Ax Paris burgundy ankle boots
4. Paul's Boutique Elisa bag in burgundy

This weeks Wednesday wish list is focused around this gorgeous Rue Du Rhone watch from The Watch Gallery. Often accessories get overlooked when putting an outfit together but when you have an item as special as an expensive watch like this it's great to make it the main feature.

Teamed with a simple, loose fitting dress like this sparkly number from Motel and deep burgundy accessories, we love this colour palette. It would definitely make a great going out look over Autumn/Winter. You could even team with tights and an oversized coat for a warmer style.

What colours are you loving this season?

MRP - South Africa's equivalent of Primark joins our blogger network!

Today we'd like to introduce you to another brand to hit the etailPR blogger network... MRP (www.mrp.com).

MRP are the South African equivalent to Primark... except with even cheaper prices!! Yes that's right, even cheaper, and they ship to the UK for just £4!! Which is cheaper postage costs than some UK high street stores. It seems too good to be true, but it's not.
With a wide variety of attractive, on trend pieces we're confident in saying you will love this website! We've already spent hours ourselves browsing through all the different categories, and to prove just how affordable this shop is we've created some of our favourite outfits.

This stunning turquoise blue sheer shirt with embellished collar is just £5.50 whilst this black pleather pleated skirt is only £6.50!

Still looking for the perfect pair of block heels? The weather might be getting cooler but these lovely heels would still make the perfect pair of shoes for a night out! At just £9 we don't think you'd be able to find any cheaper.

And finally the perfect outfit to transition from Summer into Autumn. Chelsea boots are going to be big again this season and this lovely dark blue pair are only £5.50!! Team with boyfriend jeans, a slouchy top and a pair of sunglasses for a cool day time look. Total just £22 :)

Now for the best bit of all...

As we've said MRP are joining our blogger network! They will soon be gifting samples, but to begin with they are running an onsite competition to win a years supply of clothing.  MRP want all of you guys to enter and to encourage all of your readers to as well.
The incentive... we will be paying you 30p per person you send through to the competition!

So this is a slightly different campaign to our others.
  • If you'd like to get involved you need to apply to work with MRP under the campaigns tab on the left hand side of your account. You can log in to your account here.
  • You will be automatically approved on to the campaign.
  • You will then be able to access your personal tracking link for the competition by clicking on 'Promotion' and then 'Banners & Links'. Search for MRP using the drop down box at the top.
  • You can then make a blog post about the competition in any way you wish or you could tweet about the competition, or put it in a Facebook status... we don't mind where you send the traffic to the competition from.
  • However you must remember to always use your personalised tracking link.
  • If you want to Tweet or Facebook about it using the link we suggest using a shortened bit.ly link.
  • Please note: You will only be paid 30p per click for clicks tracked through your personalised link.
  • To see how many clicks you've created you can click on 'Reports' 'Quick Stats' and then select MRP from the drop down box. You will be paid per 'Unique' click you send through. This means each different person.
  • Fraudulent clicks (multiple clicks from the same person/IP address) will be monitored and declined.
  • For us to be able to pay you we need to you to fill in your PayPal or bank details on your account. To do this you need to click on 'My Profile' and then 'Payment Details'. You can select how you'd like to be paid, input your details and select the minimum amount you need to make before being paid. Payments will be made monthly, with the first payment being on Friday 25th October.

Of course you are not obliged to apply to work with us on this campaign. If you do not wish to get paid from traffic or do not wish to enter your bank account or PayPal details that's absolutely fine. We will still continue to gift samples, and run other competitions and promotions through the network.

Celeb Style: Harper Beckham

Harper Beckham certainly stole the show at New York Fashion Week at the weekend when she was spotted front row at mummy Victoria's catwalk with daddy David and Anna Wintour. Sporting a cute top knot, the two year old certainly looked on trend. And it's no surprise really with parents like hers.

Victoria is the queen of style, with her own fashion label and being the face of many great fashion houses over the years including Marc Jacobs and Dolce & Gabbana. And how could we possibly forget David who always looks every part the smart, well groomed family man. With parents like these Harper was always destined to be a super fashionable tot!

Above are a collection of our favourite outfits of hers and the bottom right photo... well that one's just for fun! How cuuuute does she look their poking her tongue out?! :)

Are you a fan of the Beckham clan? Do you think Harper will grow up to be as world famously fashionable as her mum?

Wednesday wish list: Tartan

Left - right: Motel £22, FD Avenue £12.99, Fashion Union £20, FD Avenue £9.99, Little Mistress £30

This week we thought we'd focus our weekly wish list post around the trend of tartan! Tartan has made a big comeback in the last month or so and is looking to be very popular this Autumn/Winter. Personally we love this pattern. Originating from Scottish kilts, this cross over pattern has always been around especially in accessories like scarves. But this year it is back full force with everything from crop tops to bralets sporting the pattern.

It's also not only available in traditional red but many other colours. We particularly like this white crop top from Motel making it much more girly and this cute blue skater skirt from Fashion Union.

What do you think of this trend? Will you be wearing tartan?

Vegan and gluten free peanut butter banana bread!

You may have seen us post this delicious looking loaf on our Facebook page recently. Every morning in the office just before we start work, we take 5 minutes to look through new pins from the night before on Pinterest. We're a little addicted to Pinterest in the office to say the least! Especially to all the gorgeous food and cupcake photographs there are out there.

This particular loaf caught our intention mainly because it includes lots of our favourite things... peanut butter, banana and chocolate chips! And it happens to be vegan and gluten free. So it might come in handy if you know anyone with an intolerance or if your friends/family members happy to be vegan :) Pinterest often serves up some great recipes for specific tastes.

You view the full recipe for this loaf on Baker Bettie here. It's a really easy recipe to follow with simple ingredients, you won't be able to go wrong :)

And if you'd like to see more of what foods we're pinning head over to our 'food, glorious food' and 'cupcakes!' boards!

DIY Nail Dotting Tool

There are a lot of crazy nail art images floating around at the moment, most of which seem almost impossible to create yourself. But with the right tools and a little bit of creativity, these looks are surprisingly easy to achieve! This post is based on the dotting tool, but there are many other ways you can create interesting styles so have a look on nail art blogs or even pinterest for other ideas. Below is a really simple way of creating your own dotting tool using pins, but for different sizes you could also use the end of a bobby pin, a pen nib, or even the end of a pencil for a large dot.

Celeb Style: Kourtney Kardashian

If you're born a Kardashian, there's no doubt you have style running through your veins from birth. Each Kardashian (all 5 of them, plus two Jenners!) have their own style and never fail to look immaculate. I'm sure you all know Kim as the most well known Dash girl, but today I wanted to look at Kourtney. Not one of the most known sister, she definitely still has the known K style - from big glasses, to big leather handbags, to leopard print body con dresses. Below is a way you can steal this casual yet classy look of hers for less than half the price of her bag!

What do you think of her casual style? Not quite casual enough for you or a little too over the top?

Wednesday Wishlist: White

There are many items of clothing, shoes and bags that are considered staples and are wardrobe must-haves but there are also colour staples, white being one of them (and yes yes I know white is a 'shade' but lets just pretend for this posts sake that it's a colour). It's a staple for many reasons, but the main one being white goes with everything. It's a nice, easy way to brighten up and outfit without having to wearing neon pink lipstick or dying your hair bleach white blonde (although we are partial to both of those every now and again!). Below are a few of our favourite white picks, each a wardrobe staple.

Dress / Bag / Jeggings / Skirt / Top / Trainers

Some of these items such as the pleather skirt from Lashes of London and these ILWF wedge trainers
may seem a bit different but as they are such simple designs and of course in white, they are a lot easier to style than you may initially think. White items would you go for? Do you agree that white is a wardrobe staple?

DIY Your Desk

I don't know about you, but there's something ridiculously satisfying about making something yourself. Especially when you would have spent a silly amount of money on something similar in a shop, that turns out to not be quite as nice and not be exactly what you wanted.

When it comes to decorating your home, most people will have an exact idea of what they want but more often that not you see things that are a little too big or a little too pink or a little too dull. By making it yourself you can save yourself a small fortune and get it the exact size, pinkness or wackiness that you want! Below are a few ideas of desk area DIYs that are easy, fun and allow a lot of personalised styling.

Chalkboard wall / Cake stand storage / Framed pictures / Pallet desk / Pen tins / Taped desk
Starting with the desk itself, why not make one from scratch using an old wooden pallet? This also allows storage underneath for things like books, boxes and stationary. Or if you already own one but are getting bored of its unexciting white top, you could cover it in different coloured tape or even going one step further and decoupaging the top!

Storage wise, decorating some tin cans can give a really cute, unique look to your desk. Or if you have a lot of stationary that needs to be kept to hand, try popping it all in different sizes jars and putting them all on a cupcake stand so it can be kept neatly all in one place.

Finally for the surrounding walls, if your a pro note maker but keep getting lost in little pieces of paper, you could paint one of the walls with chalkboard paint meaning you can have it all right in front of you, and once you're finished with it you can simply wipe it away! Or if you already have a wallpaper up you love and still want to make it a little more personalised, why not get a large, fancy picture frame from a charity shop, paint it white and fill it with a cork board so you can pin up postcards, love notes and Polaroids.

101 Fashion Tips Ever Girl Should Know

I was having a little look on Pinterest recently as I seem to do nearly all day everyday now, and came across this list of 101 fashion tips every girl should know. I'm a bit of a sucker when it comes to fun little tips and tricks so couldn't resist having a read. I'm not going to list them all as you can head over to the page here and have a read for yourself, but I just wanted to share a few of my favourites with you all!

1. Remove odors from vintage or thrift clothing by spritzing them with a mixture of one part vodka, two parts water.
2. Cut down your closet by 25% by asking yourself this one question: “If I were shopping right this second, would I buy this?” If the answer’s no, out it goes. — Melanie Charlton Fascitelli, Founder, Clos-ette and Clos-ette Too.

Source
3. Snap clip-on earrings onto flats for an instant evening shoe, or onto shirt collars for DIY embellishments.
4. Spray tights with sticky (read: cheap) hairspray to avoid holes and runs.
5. To stretch tight shoes, fill two freezer bags with water and place into each shoe. Let it freeze overnight. As the water freezes, it’ll gently expand your shoes.

Source
6. Looking for an easy trick to make your bare legs look longer? Try pumps the same color of your skin, which gives give the illusion that your legs extend a few extra inches.
7. Freeze jeans inside a plastic bag for two days to zap odor without running them through the washing machine.
8. If the garment you’re ironing has delicate buttons or detailing, cover them with the bowl of a metal spoon and press the surrounding fabric.
9. When it doubt, always choose the smaller denim size, since jeans stretch with wear.

Source
10. Before bed, pour two or three tablespoons of baking soda into sweaty workout sneakers and tilt the shoe to distribute the soda evenly. This will eat any odor and absorb perspiration.
11. A good tip when cleaning out your closet: Ask a friend whose style you admire to come over and help. She/he might offer new insight on how to wear certain items before you toss them.
12. If you’re unsure about an impulse or sale purchase, leave it at the store. If you’re still thinking about it when you wake up the next day, buy it.

What do you think about these little tips? Are there any you already knew or are you as in awe as I am at these creative ideas?
