NYE Celeb Style: Little Mistress

With New Year's Eve right around the corner, we all know it can be a little challenging, to say the least, when it comes to searching for an outfit. With this in mind, we've taken a little inspiration from not only the most glamorous ladies the celebrity world has to offer, but none other than our gorgeous brands.

Spotted this week at a charity dinner in Paris, the beautiful Rosie Huntington-Whiteley made quiet the impression in this glitzy yet daring Balmain number. If you're looking for a look that stuns this NYE, you'll want to head to none other than the glamorous Little Mistress. This silver embellished sequin dress screams glamour and could easily be mistaken for Rosie's sparkly attire. This one could definitely be a contender.

Going for a softer, more feminine look couldn't be more easy with Lily Aldridge as inspiration. Wearing Valentino to a premiere in New York, Lily looks sweet yet sophisticated in her white lace mini. If girly is graceful is more your thing, you'll definitely want to take a look at the cream and gold lace embellished dress from Little Mistress.

Festive Celeb Style!

This week Dita Von Teese and Blake Lively stunned fans in jaw dropping gowns at the Van Cleef & Arpels event in New York. Their beautiful dresses instantly inspired us for this weeks 'Celeb Style post. Dita Von Teese's floor length gown in particular reminded us of the beautiful dresses on offer at Forever Unique. Celeb style: Kendall Jenner

The Jenner/Kardashian family are constantly in the press and just recently we've noticed an influx in articles about Kendall Jenner. Mainly because she was spotted on a date with Harry Styles. But nonetheless whilst reading these articles the one thing that stood out was how gorgeous Kendall looks in each one!
Yes okay she's a model so we expect her to look super tall, slim and beautiful. But she also dresses immaculately and her style has really developed over the last couple of years as she grows into a woman.

Last week she was spotted in NYC with sister Kim and we fell head over heels for her fluffy white jumper and comfy check trouser combo. She's a fan of white with many of her basics in the colour and more risque outfits, and we love this colour on her. She looks so effortlessly chic all the time... jealous!

Celeb Style: Sam Faiers

Recently Sam Faiers of The Only Way Is Essex fame was spotted wearing this gorgeous Sugarhill Boutique dress. Wearing the Ellie knit dress in burgundy on the hit ITV2 show, Sam chose a simple black leather handbag and black pumps to accessorise.

The Ellie dress retails at £54 and has lovely cut out detailing on the back with a cute collar in contrasting cream. The dress is also available in mink brown here or a grey and cream lace version is available at £55.

Are you a fan of The Only Way Is Essex? If you are you may have noticed star of the show Ferne McCann wearing some In Love With Fashion items recently. 

The hit ITV2 show which airs every Sunday and Wednesday night at 10pm features Ferne regularly. Last Sunday Ferne was spotted on a date with the shows other star Dan wearing this lovely black and white check tea dress. 

In her own time she's also been spotted in both of Love's classic cross over playsuit and jumpsuit.

This week's 'Celebrity Style' post is of the lovely Millie Mackintosh again, this time spotted wearing a lovely lemon yellow In Love With Fashion lace playsuit. You can buy yours directly from Love for just £36.

And to complete the Made In Chelsea stars look is this neutral snakeskin effect bag from Daisy Street, priced at just £12.99. Plus a pair of nude peep toe heels to finish such as this pair from Ax Paris.

Celeb Style: Miranda Kerr

Today's Celebrity Style post focuses on the beautiful Miranda Kerr who was spotted at Paris Fashion Week wearing this cute tartan jacket and gorgeous Chanel black quilted bag.

Whilst we can't replicate the Chanel bag, we've tried to replicate the rest of the outfit with this Lashes of London sheer blouse, Ax Paris leather shorts, Fashion Union pointed toe ankle boots and two tartan jacket choices from FD Avenue.
Personally we love this structured coat in a mix of camel, navy and red. However if you prefer the shorter jacket option like Miranda, FD Avenue also stock this classic tartan jacket with zip detailing.

Celeb Style: Kardashian sisters!

Last weekend the Kardashian sisters turned up at iHeartRadio's festival wearing a monochrome ensemble, featuring a lot of leather! We thought we'd try and recreate this relatively easy look to show you how to get their 'Celeb Style' for a fraction of the price!

Khloe's leather two piece looked great and there are lots of leather skirts and tops on the market at the moment. This pencil diagonal zip pencil skirt and sleeveless crop top are both from Fashion Union and together cost just £42.

Younger sister Kylie also opted for a leather look with this oversized t-shirt dress. Also from Fashion Union is this lovely leather dress with gold stud detailing around the neckline. This dress retails for just £18 and teamed a with pair of Ax Paris black heels you can get Kylie's style easily :)

The remaining red heels and white crop top are also both from Fashion Union, whilst this slogan 'Nerd' t-shirt is from Ax Paris.

We love being able to steal celebrity style at a fraction of the price from plenty of our favourite brands! This week we fell in love with Daisy Lowe's pastel pink and grey ensemble at Topshop Unique's show at London Fashion Week. Fashion Union sell a lovely baby pink skater skirt, almost identical in colour for just £20. 

Pictured with Daisy Lowe is Samantha Barks who sported a vibrant red leather skirt and a pair of killer heeled boots! Ax Paris sell some very similar shoes whilst Fashion Union are currently stocking this gorgeous red vinyl fitted skirt. We love this!! It's so on trend this Autumn :)

Celeb Style: Harper Beckham

Harper Beckham certainly stole the show at New York Fashion Week at the weekend when she was spotted front row at mummy Victoria's catwalk with daddy David and Anna Wintour. Sporting a cute top knot, the two year old certainly looked on trend. And it's no surprise really with parents like hers.



Victoria is the queen of style, with her own fashion label and being the face of many great fashion houses over the years including Marc Jacobs and Dolce & Gabbana. And how could we possibly forget David who always looks every part the smart, well groomed family man. With parents like these Harper was always destined to be a super fashionable tot!

If you're born a Kardashian, there's no doubt you have style running through your veins from birth. Each Kardashian (all 5 of them, plus two Jenners!) have their own style and never fail to look immaculate. I'm sure you all know Kim as the most well known Dash girl, but today I wanted to look at Kourtney. Not one of the most known sister, she definitely still has the known K style - from big glasses, to big leather handbags, to leopard print body con dresses. Everyone's favourite model of the moment Cara Delevingne, attended V Festival last weekend looking cool as ever. We all know her for her very relaxed and effortless style and at V she did nothing less. Pairing bold patterned harem style trousers, with a simple grey tee and leather jacket, she pulls off the festival look perfectly. Celeb Style: Teen Choice Awards 2013

On Sunday night the annual Teen Choice Awards was hosted in America with stars from movies, TV and music going home with surf board trophies!

Winners included One Direction, Selina Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Glee, Pretty Little Liars and Pitch Perfect. A few ladies in particular stood out on the red carpet... our favourites are pictured above. Both Lily Collins and Bella Thorne opted for tropical black palm print which we love! And Selina Gomez looked striking in a side splitting dress and poker straight locks.

Also, if you're a fan of One Direction they scrubbed up pretty well on the evening too!

So England finally has some sunshine! With everyone scuttling off abroad on exotic holidays, sipping cocktails by the sea and making sandcastles (the latter of which I am most jealous about..), why not celebrate England's weather by popping a few new items in your wardrobe and throwing a festival inspired get-together instead?!

Glastonbury was full of inspiring celebrity festival style, from Florence Welch's boho patchwork pieces to Millie Mackintosh's contemporary chic. I'm going to show how you can take a celebrity style and recreate it in a more purse-friendly manner - let's get started!

How to Get Olivia Palermo's Summer Style by: Diane Taha

Tailored, layered, and refined. Those are the words to describe Olivia Palermo's style. The former star of The City; and current face for Oscar de la Renta on the Outnet, is famous for her impeccable style that consists of blazers, cinched waist tops, and colorful prints. A common theme throughout her wardrobe is fit. In a recent interview with Refinery29, Olivia advises readers to learn one's body proportions and tailor clothing, if needed. In addition to her styling tips, here are four inspirational summer looks you can steal from the fashion forward socialite with the help of my buyer recommendations:

In this outfit, Olivia pairs a striped peplum jacket from Tibi with an animal print skirt and a red Louis Vuitton duffel bag for a pop of color. Both stripes and animal print are timeless, versatile trends, and the combination of both yields an interesting mashup (much like my beloved stripes + florals combination!). The addition of the flat black shoes and cat eye sunglasses create a fun, relaxed look without compromising on sophistication.

Olivia makes jackets a year-round staple, and this ensemble is a prime example. Jackets, blazers, and cardigans help dress-up an otherwise casual outfit and add a layer (no pun intended!) of sophistication. Here, she wears a yellow tank and a maxi skirt with caged sandals. It's not often that we see Olivia in a bohemian-inspired outfit, but this one comes pretty close.

One of my favorite outfits from Olivia, this outfit takes workplace style to a whole new level (who said workwear has to be bland?!). This is the second peplum top in my post, which is no surprise since peplums are a favorite of Olivia's. Peplums create a more feminine silhouette, adding definition to your waist and the illusion of curves. Here, Olivia adds a leopard print accent belt to the peplum for a tighter fit. The contrast of the coral peplum and trousers with the black and white blazer simultaneously presents a sunny demeanor with a dose of professionalism. The colorful ankle-strapped heels complete the polished look without seeming overdone.

Not one to shy away from wearing yellow, Olivia has popularized this understated color. Most notable is her lush Katie Ermillio gown;from last April's charity event in New York City. A comfortably casual yet chic alternative to the gown is the following ensemble. Here she dons a white embroidered, pleated blouse with yellow pants and yellow loafers. Celeb Style: Aila Wang

It is not every day that I envy the wardrobe of a toddler, however, Aila Wang is no ordinary child.  Since the birth of Suri Cruise, the world has taken notice of fashionable young tots with wardrobes as big as the average house.  Suri, Harper Beckham, Blue Ivy Carter and Kingston Rossdale have all made headlines thanks to their fashion forward outfits, and now I welcome another super stylish tot onto the scene, Alia.  She’s got me broody.  

Aila is the niece of American fashion designer and streetwear advocate, Alexander Wang.  Pairing custom Wang designs with Nike trainers, flaunting her mini Rocco bag and effortlessly impressing the style set all at the tender age of 3 is all in a days work for tiny Aila.  This is a girl who probably keeps crayons in her Chanel.

Today marks the beginning of New York Fashion Week and I will definitely be keeping an eye out for pictures of fashion princess Aila looking streetwear chic thanks to Uncle Alex.

With the final episode of Made in Chelsea being aired earlier this week we thought we'd centre this 'Celeb Style' post around the cast - or more importantly the girls!

With both Millie and Rosie having their own style blogs (which of course we follow) we find the girls wearing some of our favourite brands on a weekly basis. Whether it's on the show or off all of the girls always look elegant and sophisticated wherever they're papped. Of course if we were rich and famous and got to hang out in Chelsea's coolest spots we'd like to think we'd look uber chic too!

Celebrity Style: Rachel Bilson

Hello you lovely lot! Jenny here from Fashion on a Field. You are probably wondering why I'm here, I'm here to explore a celebrity style.

The celebrity that I have chosen is Rachel Bilson. CALLLIIIFFFORRNNIIAAA...... my small homage to the show that, for me anyway, made her the star and fashion icon today, that being The O.C. Back then her style was in terms of the character of Summer was quite 'all American' and preppy. A far cry from her bohemian chic she is seen wearing today.

I've created a mood board with a selection of Rachel's looks over the years, from fresh faced youngster in The OC, to the Boho girl thats sitting in the front row of fashion week. She even manages to make casual look good, if I was to wear a jumper and jeans I'd most probably look like a slob, but Rachel looks very cool indeed.



I really like her mix of long and short, some celebs find a style and stick with it, but Rachel mixes things up, while still keeping with the boho look. I really love the bright colours too, to some boho means earthy, but shown here it can also include bright pops of pinks and purples.

While browsing for inspiration for outfits I stumbled upon this really beautiful outfit, that Rachel wore to a radio event. Its elegance screams red carpet/event, but still conveys the boho style that she embodies flawlessly.

Here I have recreated the style, using high street brands that we all know and love. I found two shoes that I adored, so included both! Being the same price, it would depend on whether you want to add studs to this cute outfit. The blazer is an absolute steal! At £20 its two toned collar and pockets are a really nice detail.



One thing that 'style' doesn't always talk about is THE HAIR! YOu can have the best dress and shoes there are, but having an uninspiring do, will not do! Her sun kissed skin would look odd with full on blonde, so Rachel has opted for a sublet ombre which I think is still a very strong hairstyle. (Not just because I've been rocking the look for about 2 years now). The subtle coppers and caramels add depth to her hair, again adding to her care free style, but also adds to her more edgier pieces.

Hopefully you have liked my first ever 'Celebrity Style', I might even adopt a Celebrity Style section to make a more frequent appearance on my own blog. After all fashion is there to inspire and encaptulate.
