What I Would Wear To Ladies Day #ColourMeMarch
Spring is almost here which means it’s time to take out all your rainbow hued clothes once again. Eye catching and hot bright colors never fail to make their mark and Ladies Day on coming 11th March is a perfect occasion to dress up in your favorite vibrant outfit. Cheltenham Racecourse has come up with #ColourMeMarch contest on this Ladies Day to acknowledge the use of vivacious colors in your attire in terms of clothes, accessories and/or makeup.
To showcase my cheerful side, I would prefer to wear a ladylike outfit in bold colors. So a bright pink silk top over a chiffon yellow skirt accessorized with a lime green clutch is a perfect choice for this event. Styling the outfit with my favorite statement traditional jewellery pieces will definitely help me earn brownie points. To tone down the entire look, going for nude color stilettos is a wise idea
There are many other ways of adding pops of colour to your look and these few tips will definitely help you in putting this look together:
1) Maintain the balance: Make sure you don’t go overboard with the idea by choosing one dominant colour that attracts attention. For example
a. Focus on bright accessories like a neon color statement neckpiece, handbag and/or footwear over a neutral colored dress to take your look up a notch.
b. Go for a vibrant printed dress and accessorize it with neutral shades to stand out in the crowd.
c. Opt for contrasting separate pieces paired with tan accessories.
2) Break the monotony: To give an interesting angle, add a hint of white to your look. Throw a bright coloured jacket over a dress or vice versa.
3) Dress according to body type: Wear neutral/dark colour shades on your body where you don’t want to seek attention. Bright colours can be worn where you want people to focus.
